She sees the act of painting as a psycho-physical event. While painting, she mainly uses her hands, palms and fingers and only scarcely reaches for a brush. This immediacy and spontaneity are also reflected in her choice of topics. She emphasizes movement and the idea of a painting as a living trace of an uncompromised moment.
