Patrik Adamec

Before he began his studies in Sculpture with Lukáš Rittstein at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, he had spent several years at the Czech Technical University focusing on architecture and industrial design. Perhaps this is where his interest in materials such as concrete, wood, or glass come from. The main source of inspiration is his personal life and his work can be described as autobiographical. He usually works with figures or details of the human body and, in addition to traditional methods, he also uses different and atypical forms, such as vacuum forming. Recycling is an essential element of his work.
