Olga Krykun

Olga works mainly with the medium of video, object and painting, which she then combines to create complex installations. By intertwining fictional narrative elements with references to actual symbols used in our culture and society, her pieces create contradictory mythology of the present day. Her work is firmly based on elements of intuition, emotion and personal experience, which are processed with a distinctive visual stylization and unique aesthetics. They resemble surreal visions or a dream trance, resulting in a very vivid experience for the viewer.
