Johana Střížková

Johana uses both human and non-human subjects (such as animals, plants and articles) in her oneiric and yet commonplace video studies, photographs and objects. Her goal is to evoke echoes of collective (in)consciousness in the viewer. She focuses on everyday life, unusual situations, daily rhythm, time and minimalist aesthetics. Her pieces work with posthumanism, human as a form – subject, and they also celebrate human imagination and playfulness.
