Barbora Šlapetová

She expresses herself in many art forms – paintings, drawings, photography, film and literature. Her multimedia projects are centered around the clash of cultures where she uses art to investigate the last indigenous peoples at the peak of globalization. Her work is based on several expeditions to West Papua. Since 2009, she has been collaborating with NASA on her art projects. Her photographs were even taken up to the International Space Station (ISS) and some of her footage was filmed in space.
